At Scribbr, we work with two editing styles. When you place an order on our English domain, you are able to pick which one you want the editor to adhere to when editing your document. These editing styles dictate what guidelines your editor will follow when proofreading or formatting your document.
Our most commonly used editing style is our own Scribbr-style. It is based on general academic principles and can, for this reason, accommodate every student’s requirements. This means that the editor will follow your lead and make sure your (or your university's) stylistic choices are applied consistently.
We also offer APA editing. When you choose the APA editing style, the editor will follow APA 7 stylistic guidelines.

The APA editing style is not to be confused with our APA Citation Editing service. Your citation style and editing style apply to separate services, so it's perfectly possible to select Scribbr-style editing when it comes to the Proofreading & Editing service, and to choose APA as your citation style for the Citation Editing service. :)
